Geoff Mann had the concept of Casino written out in lyrics. When Clive Nolan read it, he was interested in doing the musical part for it. It grew out to be a great collection of progressive rock musicians creating the whole project. Brian Devoil was invited on drums.

The first idea was that Andy Revell and maybe even Clive Mitten and Rick Battersby (I don't know for sure about that) were going to collaborate as well. This was looking too much like a Twelfth Night reunion, so that idea was dropped.

A second pressing by SI Music appears to have the coins on the cover printed in gold paint.
